Today let’s have a look at Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 FlyEase and of course I took them for a run to let you know how I think they feel.
Looking at the shoe it looks like a small, fast shoe. The design is really great and the whole style just screams ‘race me’.
It has an Air Zoom unit at the forefoot which is twice as large as previous versions to give you more bounce. And it has Nike React Foam at the midsole.
You don’t tie your laces, but it has a zipper on the side, so you just ease in to the shoe and zip up and go.
It has a nice durable looking sole, that again for some reason just looks like it needs to be running at fast speed.
This neutral shoe weighs 310 grams in a size 10 and has a 10mm heel drop.
Running in the Pegasus 37 FlyEase feels like a smooth ride, they are very comfortable running shoes with a great midsole bounce. It doesn't have the amount of cushioning as the Next% or the Adidas UltraBoost 21 that I recently reviewed, but it feels very comfortable just the same.
The FlyEase system is great and works really easy, you just zip up your shoes and your ready to go. To tighten our loosen your shoes is pretty easy as well, just by adjusting the laces that are connected with velcro. This was an issue that I had with the Next% FlyEase, they felt a bit loose and that was hard to adjust.
Over all I think the Pegasus 37 FlyEase is a great and comfortable shoe. Stable, durable and even though it doesn't have that extra softness, it's still a bouncy shoe.
